State Representative Paul Rosenthal is now serving his fifth year in the Colorado House. He is a Democrat who represents the southeastern part of the City and County of Denver. He sits on the Business & Labor Committee and Local Government on which he is the Vice Chair. When not in legislative session, he is a teacher of social studies and English at a youth correctional facility. He earned an MA in International Management from the University of Denver, and he spent a year at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Issues he particularly focuses on include criminal and juvenile justice, promoting Colorado globally, climate change, and LGBT rights. Besides legislation, he has annual projects like his Stellar Student program, Sister City celebration, and the Persian/Iranian-American community breakfast. He is a world traveler and loves to cook for friends.

Lox and bagels and beverages will be served.
