B’nai B’rith works in many communities around the United States – and around the world – to bridge the gap between leaders of today and young Jewish leaders of tomorrow. Integral to the future of B’nai B’rith International (BBI) is the B’nai B’rith Young Professional Network (BBYPN). The goal of the network is to attract younger leaders and create programs that will appeal to young professionals and families. BBI has geared specific programs toward young adults, ages 21 to 40.
Young people in all stages of their lives are welcome to participate. There are endless opportunities for young professionals, students, singles and young families. These include social gatherings, community service projects, and programming based on the BBI portfolio of human rights, public policy, disaster relief, health and family issues, United Nations affairs, and more.
There are many active and growing young leadership groups around the United States.

The B’nai B’rith Young Professional Network in the mile high city has lots to offer!
In 2012, the marquee event was the Gift of Life Mitzvah hour. For the B’nai B’rith Young Professional Network (BBYPN), February was Gift of Life month. BBYPN groups across the country held “Mitzvah Hour” events in cooperation with the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Foundation.
“Mitzvah Hours” are happy hours with a social action component. The network has been hosting “Mitzvah Hours” in several cities for causes such as the B’nai B’rith Cuban Jewish Relief Project and local food pantries.
Other activities have included the Leadville camping trip and cemetery clean up, Habitat for Humanity build, Comedy night, leadership trainings as well as international events.
