Volunteer with Newborns in Need

Sunday, October 6th from 12:30PM-3PM

777 Bannock Street, Denver 80204

Nearly 3,200 babies are born each year at Children’s Hospital.  Many families are low-income and struggle to provide the things they need for their newborns. With support from volunteers and donors like you, every baby leaves the hospital with a “Warm Welcome” bag filled with diapers, blankets and clothing to help them get off to a healthy start in life.

Please join us to help us assemble these “Warm Welcome Bags”.   Children ages 6 and older are welcome and we have a limit of 20 volunteers.  Kosher pizza will be served from 12:3oPM-1PM and we’ll sort from 1-3PM.

Volunteers will meet me at the information desk at the main front entrance of the hospital, also called Pavilion A.  For Mapquest directions, use the address 777 Bannock Street, Denver 80204.  Parking is available in the visitor’s garage and the entrance is on the east side of Delaware Street between 6th Avenue and 8th Avenue (free parking provided).

Please bring a water bottle, wear comfortable shoes and bring a new gift for the babies.
